Welcome to the bench.

More Buzzers
Size 20
Been tying buzzers a lot lately. Figured why not go smaller. I enjoy seeing how small i can tie a fly pattern. So far size 26 is the smallest I have tried.
The wing case is opal tinsel, and the "wing" Is actually the breathers. They are marabou. I trail them behind a nymph on about 8-14 inches of tippet. I have also greased the leader and fished them in the film.
Size 26. That's tiny my friend.
ReplyDelete#26 is tiny, but they do make hooks down to 32 as im sure you know. I wonder if i could tie 32 buzzer????????
DeleteJohnny what's the wing case and wing ? Can they ride in the film ? Or do you fish them on the bottom ?
